I have a few days of vacation left today so went yardsale hopping.I met WVillbilly he had some bottles for sale at a realatives. I bounced around not doing to good got permision to probe at 1 house but never found the pit. I had just about give up and run across this Hawaii milk . I dont collect milks very much  so I passed on it and came home. I told my 9 year old son and he had to have it so we went back out and he bought it. I decided to drive up the road a few miles to get something to eat and passed another yard sale pulled in and no bottles but I always ask. The guy says I have a few and he dug them out.I bought a war bonds from Athens co-operative creamery I thing Georgia? and a slugplate from Angola New York for $5.00 a piece. and a Bat Man car for 50 cents thats better then digging when its this hot.  Anyone have any info on these????

I would think the War Bond bottle should be a bit expensive, they are really hard to come by these days, or at least so in my Area. The graphics are fantastice on this one.

The milks were a steal!  I bet that Hawaii one is worth $ too...the Bat mobile is cool! There were 15 pages of Batmobiles on Ebay and a lot were selling.  I'm sure that one is worth more than 50 cents.

You made out on your war bonds bottle didnt ya
Next time Im up that way we'll have to go diggin, might be awhile though. Your bottle collecting must be well know in those parts, there was a guy stopped at the sale and said I should call ya, then before I came home I boxed up my bottles and took them to the flea market in wintersville and sold some to your buddy who has the indoor antique shop.

Thanks for all the replies I think I did good and at least once a year I find a few good bottles at yard sales but they are never in the sale. You have to ask .It was nice meeting another forum member wvhillbilly  and I guess I am known for being a little crazy about bottles all over the Valley.Let me know the next time you are coming up this way and we can do some digging.
