Hit a farm dump at lunch yesterday, didn't get much but great weather to be out in.  I'd been here before, not too old but was hoping for a local milk, soda, or a nice jar, some interesting metal finds have come out of this one including a hydraulic ram pump.  First embossed bottle turns out to be an Easybright "ouch" and it didn't get any better than that,  McCormicks, Lysol, etc.,etc.  Had to drag this bottle home though just because of the size.  It's a 1937 Owens slick med but look at it next to the 1/2 fluid oz.  This whoppers marked 32 fluid oz. thats 64 times larger.  Being a farm dump I'm hoping this went for some cow or horse and not that some person had to slug down this much yummy medicine!

Although very common I did get one of these two little 3-in-one's.  I gave my oldest daughter one of these years ago, she's 15 now and yesterday found the other one which I gave to my other eight year old girl.  We had a lady preacher once who used to ask the congregation  to bring in water from home to add to the "holy" water when we would have a baptism that Sunday in church.  I loved bringing in these little three in ones (father, son, and holy ghost) and then giving it to the parents.  They liked it but some probably thought I was nuts!  I figured it could only  help to keep the Great Spirit looking favorably on my bottle digging adventures.

I also dug my first gun, I'm thinking its a toy but it does have some weight to it.  The end of the barrel was just hanging on and broke off.  Lost my potatoe rake coming back through the tall corn to the car, it fell out of the bag.  I've dropped so many of these that some future treasure hunter will be trying to figure out what sort of hunter/gatherer kept losing these things.

Hey Cobaltboy, the gun looks soooo good. Will you have it clean? How? Is the ultrasonic cleaner right for this? Please post some pictures of it clean, if you can.

I have 2 or 3 of those three in one bottles if you want them.  Postage shouldn't be much but the bottles are yours if you want em.  Just PM me.  Hope to help out.    Ben

Thanks all for the replys, that prescription bottle is huge, at 10 1/2 inches the pic doesn't do it justice, I'd like to know what the label read.  This little dump is close to work and I hit it when I can't find a new one at lunch.  It's really hard to get places, have fifteen or so whole minutes to dig and then force myself to quit so I can get back in time.  Still nice to get in the dirt, even for a little while.  I think I'll try electrolysis on the gun I've had some luck with that.  Paddla I might take you up on that, they are great little bottles to give away.  Never, ever dug a case gin. Hint, Hint----Ha!  Haven't got out much due to the addition weve been working on.  We're no where near done but the pressure is off as we met our only deadline on Sept 18th.  Couldn't resist putting a makeshift shelf in one of the windows ( 7 huge windows and one stained glass 100 + yr old church window). Put up some of my best and latest as inspiration of things to come.  Have enough good bottles to fill this window but need lots of digging to fill up the rest!
