Hey all here my haul from a pit in Covington, Ky . Was a fun dig with a great digger  some real cryers as are in most. I'll let him say what he took home if he like's.Some plain meds a couple of ink a Halls balsam for lungs a Davis pain killer .A couple of cryer 1860 fruit jars for me .Thanks for looken and good luck diggen and find to ya all.

a couple sweet inks there Bill!  I wonder what the tops of those jars looked like?

What is the embossing on the fruit jars, Bill?
It looks like it could be a groove ring wax seal with pressed laid on ring.

Some nice finds there really like the inks and its a shame the jars were broken better luck next time.

I have yet to dig a whole umbrella ink, so finding 2 in one dig would be a thrill. WTG!

Thanks for the replys all .Hey Woody yea  I think the jars are Hemingrays wax push down sillers  with the Sept 18th 1860 patent date.There were some in the hole with large thick threads too.A real cryer qt Cannon flask .OH an ya know I was happy when the inks came out .There was a stone small master that came out broken too. Thanks agian all

      It was fun dig for sure,slop and all.Hopefully the next one will have more in it and the inks will be full of embossing.I think I can see Hit & Run Jimmy's spirit in jar on the left. Here is a picture of the soda on the left,it's definately teal.Dime a dozen in aqua but this one will be nice if it cleans up.
