Good dig Tony, local sodas are always good!If my memory serves me right that is a cd151 one variant or the other.Regardless,I think it is a common one unless you color it blue or green. It looks nice and clean and should display great.Good luck on your digging,Doug

Thanks doug! Yea it is pretty clean and displays great. I dont have to many insulators but the ones i have i like. Yea the local sodas are always great. Those h. nehring mug bases are hard to dig in good condition. For some reason the mug base always tended to crack. This one is probably the best one ive ever dug.

Yup, CD 151 HGCo, in the light aqua colour, probably only worth a couple bucks.

Nice stuff Tony.  Funny the mug bases are always cracked, you would think those would be the death nell to most any other bottle that got in their way.

Yea i know. Its a really common local soda but all of the dug ones are usually damaged. I have one in my collection that is still full.

I would say the insulator is ice aqua or blue (cant tell by the picture, could be clear but un-likely) ice blue and ice aqua are listed at 15-20 each, nothing rare yet i have never found one so i wouldnt say it';s common. It is probably from around the 1890's, i dont kno9w weather hemingray was making that cd# before the 1893 drip point patent but i will assume they didnt and say that yours was made between 1893-1894 (wild guess) because thats when the covengton plant restarted maiking insulators and most of the insulators made at the covengton factory were light and ice colors. Of corse, youll want to get a 2nd opinion on that statement Nice insulator!

While the HGCo's in ice aqua, ice blue, etc list at 15-20, I doubt you could get it. I did have 2 in somewhat the same colour, picked them up at the national a few years ago for 2 bucks a piece. The colours really vary as to what you have in your area, I know that.
