Got out for a little while and not too much to show for it. I am looking for info on this one though it is embossed vinol and says private mould patented april 19, 1898. Anyone?

The base says Armand Compacte Rouge Trademark Reg. Made in U.S.A. Any ideas?

Hey Tony, Nice finds. The Vinol was mineral oil I think. The rouge was used buy the ladies to make their cheeks red

Hey Tony,  neat stuff you're finding there.  I am glad to see you are still getting in a few more digs.  We had a little cool snap and some rainy days this past week, but it it supposed to be top-notch today and sunday.  Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your finds.  I don't think I have ever seen one of those vinols before.  Holler at ya later!

Hey thanks for the kind words everyone. I got out digging again today and hopefully will have pictures out tommarrow. Bram--i have no idea what the compact is made out of but thats the cleanest i could get it with water and soap.
