Also got some nice tins and bottles. 1st pic is the find of the day a 1/2 gal local whiskey jug from Lexington Tenn it was a flea market find. I saw the old lady sit it out. I said how much I thought she would blow me away when she said $8 I needed a heart pill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid her and had to ask where did you get that she said it was in our old smoke house at the farm ! I'm stll in shell shock from it last one I had years ago was $500+ even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then bob

I really like this it came from a local twon. It a pre WW2 era stop sign of steel with the raised letters . This was yellow and black and then after the colors changed in 1950 to red white it was repainted. I am going to restore it to yellow and black you don't see a lot of the original signs like this . I gave $2 for it. bob

Here's a nice big 50's -early 60's era tin with the panel truck on the side. It's a early one no zip code on it. I see a lot of the later ones with zip from the 60's-early 70's era but not many of the older ones. Also a nice hot pink unopened pull tab Tab . BOB

Here's 2 nice Coffee Jars with original tops and labels. I don't see many 3 pound jars like the big one. there is a early brass powder tin on top of the one jar. BOB

Here's 2 I see all the time but I see very few with a city on the back. The Milkay seems to always have St louis and the Nesbitts I never see with a town. Both of these had a town on rear.

2 nice Corinth Miss Nugrapes the one on the left is rare with the blue star in background (circa WW2) it has embossed on bottom Coca Cola bottling works of Corinth Miss and it's code dated 1942. The one on the right is late 60's -early 70's era and it's still capped and full. It has Coca Cola bottling works on rear also.

Those are nice. I see a few Milkays with a city but most have just the St louis Back. The NuGrape you have is the 2nd style of the acl. The larger one is a little later. bob

THE VEHICLE ON THE LARGE TIN LOOKS 1930S-40S. COULD IT BE THAT OLD? ANY WAY I LOVE THINGS LIKE THAT! GREAT FINDS! JAMIE

I believe they used the same design from the 40's-all the way through the 70's. I can date them before the early 60's by no zip code on the cities. But as far as exact date I can't. I see several of the newer 60's-70's with the zips on them and they still had the same truck. I bought it just because I knew it had to be a least late 50's and back. BOB
