Yesterdays search for a new dump-success!! - 3/27/2011 10:01:08 AM    waskey   Posts: 1530 Joined: 12/6/2008 From: ellicott city,md Status: offline Joey and I about finished up our big milk dump. We can't dig there anymore anyway because the house ended up being morgaged. Well I don't think there was a whole lot more to dig there anyway. We decided to go out scouting for a new dump. We walked around near some old houses in the woods finding only newer stuff for a while, then we started seeing older shards of plates, depression glass, and 30s bottles. We then found the main dump area. It is a very shallow surface dump but it covers a large area and I am pretty happy with the results. It could have some nice milks in it. Here are the finds. -1952 square qt. Wilton Farm Dairy Catonsville, MD. -1963 square qt. Cloverland Farms Dairy-Baltimore, MD -1942 qt. Western Maryland Dairy -1937 pt. Cloverland Farms Dairy-Baltimore, MD -1935 1/4 pt. Fairfield Western Maryland Dairy -1930s fancy script J.R. Watkins medicine bottle. -1930s fancy deco jar. Probably juice.
