This one I just bought today..

John Young M.D. Farmington N.H.

It has a flower embossed in the center of the front panel with "John Young MD" above, and "Farmingon NH" below.
The panel is outlined with a sort of "border", and at the very top it has a "point" like you'd see on wrought iron fences..the spiked tops of the fences that is...only one I ever seen like this..

Clear, typical D.F.& D. coffin shape that I have just figured out is common for these doctor/pharm bottles...

About 5-3/4" as a guess..

How common/rare is it? nhpharm, I would assume you know just what bottle I am talking about here..

Thanks!

These must have some interesting story behind them, though I have not yet tracked it down.  There is a John Young bottle from Dover, NH with a flower on it, a P.B. Young bottle from Farmington with a flower on it, and a John Young from Farmington with a flower on it.  These bottles have exactly the same flower on all of them-I assume P.B. Young was related to John Young and I assume that at some point John moved from Farmington to Dover (or the other way around).  Nonetheless, the Farmington examples are scarce and the Dover examples appear to be very scarce.

Thank you very very much nhpharm !!! I guess it was a well spent $10.00. It's in mint condition too...

Just picked up a very small Benjamin Green apothecary Portsmouth NH too...also mint 1"x1"x3"... I did have a "large" Benjamin Green, can't remember if I boxed it up or sent it away in trade before I decided to collect the NH pharms...

I thought I had seen all the Dover pharms. but I've never seen a Young bottle from Dover. All these years, still new stuff shows up!
