Your Thoughts on this one, Please - 10/12/2006 10:10:33 PM    dirtman   Posts: 4 Joined: 10/12/2006 Status: offline I'm not saying its after 1900, or before but there are no visable mold marks on the threaded neck only on the bottle itself.  The bottom half is octagon and the upper is ball shaped with 4 designs around it, and the top is threaded to recieve a cap, we found this at an old mine site in n.w. arizona with only cement foundations left from the buildings, any help on identifing it is appreciated.   thanks all. RE: Your Thoughts on this one, Please - 10/20/2006 9:22:51 AM    dirtman   Posts: 4 Joined: 10/12/2006 Status: offline Thanks, great pic., the one we found is 3 1/4 " tall and the hole opening in the neck is 3/8" wide so I guess that a wick could have gone down it, it seems if it were a perfume bottle the opening should have been much smaller to allow a small amount of liquid pass at a time.  I'm in N.W. Arizona and we're going out again this weekend to prospect for meteorites and gold and look for more collectabiles.  Thanks again for your input.  This is a great site when you need help.  (in reply to zanes_antiques) Post #: 10
