Hello, I'm new to the Bottle Forum.  I am looking for specific bottles that are labeled or imbossed with the name:  Zeitfuss Pharmacy.  I found an old eBay auction showing one of these bottles ... small, blue glass, dating around 1900 give or take a few years.

The bottles may be labeled/imbossed with just Zeitfuss Pharmacy or Otto P. Zeitfuss or O. P. Zeitfuss or Carl Zeitfuss.

There were Zeitfuss Pharmacies in New York City, Newburgh, NY and in Connecticut.  If you have any information on where I can find one of these bottles or more than one ... I'd be very grateful.

Hey Buster- Welcome to a very good site.

Check this out  http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/1254693107058812415aqFJAC

I'll do some checking tonight for you. Seems like I saw that bottle on some site.

Are you a digger? What else do you or the wife/family collect?

How did you find AB dot Net?
Bill

Buster,
Found the following info:
Otto P. was listed at the following addresses between 1897 and 1912--
No 60 Fulton St,,  784 Washington St (sold that one in 1903),, Broadway & Liberty (Morris Heights?)

I found an 1898 advertisement for Carl that states "Morris Heights and Washington Bridge Pharmacy---Prescriptions a Specialty."

Nothing yet for Connecticut.

Thanks blobbottlebob for the suggestion to check out eBay.

The one bottle I saw a picture of was from an old eBay auction I'd run across on the internet during a genealogy search on the name "zeitfuss".  I will keep checking eBay.

Wangan, thanks for keeping an eye out for me.  Not too many folks remember Buster as Tarzan ... they do connect him as Flash Gordon more often.

druggistnut, thanks for that link. I have seen that Camp In The Woods Zeitfuss Lodge ... there's some connection to the Zeitfuss' I'm researching. And I have those addresses and the ad...which I found searching the web.  It's the bottles that still elude me. lol!

I am not a digger (yet).  I am pursuing this bottle hunt as a result of my geneology research.

My wife is a doll collector and is the one who suggested I check out this forum as a result of her making an inquiry on the "Collector's" Discussion Board on eBay. A kind eBayer gave her the link to this forum.
