I just picked up a few bottles... about 3500.  Supposedly some good ACLs in the mix.  They are being freighted in next week.  This was the late Tom Marsh's collection.  Some of you may have his book on ACL bottle collecting.  Robert, I'll let you know what all Barq's are in there.

All I can say is WOW!

I have Tom Marsh's first book and I wore it out.  It introduced me to all sorts of ACLs that i never knew existed.  There should be some real gems in there.  You are a lucky man.

Now THAT is a collection!  I've heard of Tom Marsh before-but never knew he wrote a book.  What is the exact title and when was it published?  If someone could provide a photo of the front cover-that would be great. Then I will know what to look for. Thanks

I took a picture of Tom Marsh's book for you Doug.  This one is Volume 1.  He put out a Volume 2 that I don't have.

It was one of the only books on ACLs in the early nineties.  The pics are black and white and some of the bottles pictured are hard to see in the photos. The prices for the bottles listed were never very accurate (price guides ususally aren't).

At the time though I was glad to have it.  I got to see bottles I didn't know existed. I would go to bottle shows hoping I would be able to find a bottle that caught my eye in the book.

Yea, should be a lot of fun going through these.  The 18 wheeler is supposed to be here Monday morning.. I just hope they survived the trip.

I'll be leaving Wednesday morning to go to Nashville for the National Coke convention so I probably won't have a lot of time to look through them.  I'll be posting pics when I get back...
