I found this 1/2 gal atlas at a yard sale but have been unable to figure out what it is in the red book, It is not a #112 as the neck has three neck beads. It fits # 112-2 but no 1/2 gal is listed. Am I missing something?  It has HA mark over an e over a 2 on the base. Thanks

I'd stick with the 112-2 classification.  Redbook #8 was the first issue where any effort was made to distinguish the various commonly found sizes, so you have to figure it is still somewhat incomplete in that respect.  Send your photos to Doug & he'll get it added in Redbook 11, I'm sure.  Figure the half gallon is worth a buck or two more than the quart & pint, nothing to quit your day job for.  -Tammy

The last I've ever heard, Doug is a non-technology holdout.  He wants everything on paper.  It's more time consuming for you, but that's the way it is.  -Tammy
