Over the weekend diving on a sunken caboose we were able to bring up over 200 of the jars that were in side.  I started cleaning them today The way it looks  this was a load of moonshine that didn't make it.  So far we only lost one.  To the stories you hear about moonshiners not using a #13 we have over 15 #13's so far.The liquid inside as the bottles leaked was undescribable. They were all sealed and had a heavy felt like cheesecloth also sealed around the top.  An old moonshiner said this was used  just in case there was a fermentation or disclarity  then you could filter it before using.  He idnefied the bottles as diffinitely moonshine.
