I think there are four of them and this barn will be torn down at some point! (Nothing good inside - I checked.)

A shot of JD usually takes care of that.

It was my digging partners - first he ever dug in 35 years - he decided to give it to me and a couple days later, we dug another one in a different dump! This one was found near where the poisons came from... the other was dug in the Blue Ball dump.

I am also ready to dig a privy any time!!!!! As matter fact a new guy started at my work and me and him are going to dig his sister in-laws privy this Friday. I think he might be getting the bottle bug??? Any how psychodoodle, PM me or just post on here if you want go digging or just B.S. about bottles.

Oh yeh,If you want I can help you get those lightning rods with the milk glass balls. I'm not scared of hieghts and I'm always up to a good challange. Speeking of a challange this weathervane was on a monster barn. I was coming home from work when I saw the bulldozers sitting idle by a pile of rubble wich  was once a 1700's farm house. This brought a tear to my I eye but I noticed there was still a large barn standing in the back, and low and behold on the peak was this vane. I had to play spiderman to get it but thank god because two days later the barn was a spitting image of the house. Nothing but a mangled mess of history. Now there going to build a senior center or whatever you call those assisted living communities. I guess in the next twenty years we will be seeing alot of those going up??

Hi Welddigger - Yeah - I'm pretty much right up the road from you in Macungie. Where's this house/barn they tore down that they are developing? Any chance of detecting it? Or looking for an old farm dump?

Yeh, detecting it would be awesome! As far as the dump goes I was thruogh the dump several years ago before it was sold. If you no how to detect I would like to get together and goe to some spots I know. I have several spots I would love to try to detect at.
I tryed my hand at metal detecting but all I ever come up with is nails and other unadentified objects. My email is jctrumbauer@enter.net. If you know what your doing or know somebody that does. I have several locations that we could possibly detect at i.e. old school house, old boy scout cabin, a barn out in the middle of nowhere that the perkiomen R.R. runs right next too and a couple other.
I did find this detecting! Which I believe is an old buggy step????
