blue bottle - glass jug?? - 7/29/2006 3:42:31 PM    sweetrelease   Posts: 660 Joined: 7/20/2006 From: hammonton ,nj Status: offline found this today at a yard sale and almost s#*& myself .took a good look at it and think it is pontil on the bottom.it is heavy and is VERY crude in it's make.the handle is some what sideways and looks "pushed" on.you can see it the pic that the top is uneven and has lots of bubbles,matter of fact the whole bottle is littered with bubbles.this bottle "or should i call it a jug?"is so sweet in person.the blue looks like it glows in the sun light.not sure of age and there is no embossing at all or marks that i have found yet.anyone know what this could be or what it was used for??on another note had the wife and my 5 year old son out with me today hunting bottles and we all had fun.i think my son has a eye for old bottles my wife found some too and now the house is being "redone" in all my old bottlesoh well thanks for lookin ,matt Attachment (1) Post #: 1
