O.K. here goes for my first post. I know this bottle isn't very old but a pretty color. Could anybody tell me what kind it is? Thanks in advance for any info.

It probably was a labeled "Milk of Magnesia" bottle.

I remember this stuff from when i was a kid....My Nan used to give it me for belly aches....Tasted like minty chalk......Yuk[child cruelty]

I agree that it is likely a Milk of Magnesia bottle.  Have a picture of the bottom?

When it gets daylight I'll take a pic and post. Any idea how old this bottle is=50 years old maybe?

50 or so years is a good date. I can't quiet tell,but looks like it has "RIBS" on the sides and at the top. Will wait for pictures,but if it has ribs ,could have been a poison.

That is a McKesson and Robbins bottle. They are listed in the poison bottle workbooks as KR-42. Many did indeed contain poison, but the same bottle style was also used for other McKesson products. They come in clear, amber, green and cobalt, and also in a wide variety of sizes and shapes.

If I remember correctly, the bottle design was patented in 1929. They date from 1929 to the early 1940s. They make a nice display if you can find some different sizes and colors. ~Jim
