Looks to me like there has to be a good old dump there somewhere Joel. There was a fellow here locally that plowed up a back yard here in town, plowed hutch sodas, inks, and so on right at the top of the ground more or less. I tried to get him to let me dig in it, and he would not let me. Then I tried to get him to at least save those pieces of history and he said for me to mind my own dam business. But then too, that has always been the type of people that live where I grew up anyway. What a waste. It was no wonder why I moved out of there years ago. I always said that if I hit the lottery big, I would buy the whole town, bring in the dozers, and turn the place into a cow pasture, and dig the hell out of all the dumps I could find. A blasted house is built over top of the original town dump. Its located on a creek bank that can not be dug. I have found pieces of pontiled flasks that wash out of the bank here and there at times. Makes me sick to think about it ! http://www.freewebs.com/yesterdaystreasures/index.htm
