Hi there everyone! I have what I think is the newest and coolest addition to my bar collection! A genuine BUCHANAN BLACK AND WHITE WHISKY JUG/NIPPER. All I know is that it came from an antique shop in England! It's in awesome shape! All it's missing is the actual nipper spout on the front - but the glass & embossing is just gorgeous! What is this find worth? The front reads JAs Buchanan & Co ltd. Black & White Whisky ~ back has white emobossing that reads property of James Buchanan & Company! I won't tell you what I paid for humbles sake (free!) Just curious if I have anything of great value here, or just a pretty piece. An estimated year? I have been scourring the web - to no avail! You experts are my only hope! I'm going to continue my quest for beautiful barware for my basement i-home bar! Thanks for any info! Oh yeah - I double checked my "reproduction" guidebooks and this is clearly an original! it's fully embossed & filled in w/ gold plate & white etching on the rear! It's awesome!
