went out digging yesterday and didnt find much until i was ready to leave ( had to go to work) . i found a corner of this sticking out of a collasped creek wall  . dug around it with my small screwdriver , all i had with me ,  and managed to get 1/4 of the bottom right corner exposed . anybody think im crazy for going back this morning to finish it in a light rain . supposed to rain hard for the next two days here so i thought why not . plus not knowing which sign or if its in good shape was killing me . its got to be a 20s or 30s sign and is curved like it mounted on a pole . the typeface is different than the one used today and so is the medallion and the S in soup .

Size? Around my way I would say $75 and up to $125 depending on size would find it a new home without trying too hard.

Nice save. If it were mine, I would put it on ebay. Last year I found 2 Virginia porcelain license plates and I sold them for over $300 each on ebay. Don't know what your sign would bring, but I'm sure that it would be worth your efforts. WTG!

Sam, I think that sign would bring $150. - $200. on ebay.  It is a good size and not horrible condition and a company that people recognize.
I would have gone back to dig it out.  If I didn't there might be a flood and the rest of the creek bank would cave in and the sign would be lost forever.

A nice sign indeed!     What part of the world was this discovered?    I would agree on the 150-200 value with the condition etc..     If it becomes avail. I would be intrestedin trade or purchase...  Enjoy John
