They had some cheap low end bottles at a recent yardsale so I picked some up to add to my general collection.  This little Sharp & Dohme bottle broke the bank at 10 cents.  Probably worth 10 cents but this little guy is not listed in this tiny size in the Baltimore book.

I had the bigger Cereal milk jar and picked up the smaller one for 50 cents.  Both have ground lips.

Moving up to $1 is the bromo on the left.  These are sometimes sold for more on ebay but if you look at multiple bromo ebay sales you can find one of these in amongst the normal colors.  I think I have all the colors in this 2 1/2+ inch size now.  I dug the aqua one as a kid.  The Baltimore book lists a yellow-green one in a three inch size, I've never seen one, anybody else?

And lastly for $2 the WILDROOT.  I've dug plenty of wildroots but never this style.  I think this could be a sleeper of the future.

Thanks Jamie and Mike.  Mike I gave a green  wildroot like you found to a man in North Carolina who found a WW2 message in your style bottle on the beach.  He tried to easily break the bottle to get the note out but it smashed to pieces.  He wanted a similar bottle to give to the family of the man who wrote the note if he could find them.  Last I heard he couldn't find any relatives but has the bottle and the note in a showcase of stuff he's found washed up on the beach.  I think its cool that the hole on these is so small that you can fill them with water, turn them upside down and not a drop comes out until you give the bottle a shake.

Hey Steve, that Wildroot is a barber bottle.

I can see it now........Get home on Friday after a long day in the coal mine, rush into the bath to wash my hands and face being sure to pay extra attention behind the ears, grab my Sunday go to meetin pants and a clean shirt, splash on a half gallon of refreshing Wildroot for men and heaaaa...d....e..ugh....hooo....umph....wakeing up in the hostpital 3 dayes later having suffered from asphyxiation or some kind of chemical poisining and a concussion from cracking my head on the steps out front as I collapsed.

Sounds like some great stuff that Wildroot....
