After 15-20 yrs of searching, I finally obtained one of these!  It is a 1920s-30s Coca-Cola railway shipping crate.  Think about it.  Coke had to be transported someway before our interstate system was established.  It was transported via these heavy steel crates on trains, which held 72 bottles.

I first saw one of these at the Mobile, AL flea market right after it opened.  The guy wanted like $100 for it.  I went home and pooled all my money.  I was only about 15 yrs old then.  I scraped up the money and went back the next day.  It had been sold.  I was so disappointed.  I have always looked for one since and just now came across one.  What a great piece to have.  It's basically indestructible.

That's a sweet find, especially with the second chance thing.
