Hi, I have some older whiskey decanters that have the cork wrapped glass stoppers. While attempting to remove the stoppers the cork wants to remain with the bottle. What is the best way to successfully remove and maintain the stoppers with the cork intact for use?

That is tough to do! Have you soaked the bottle top in water with a drop or two of dish detergent?
