Hey all
Heres a couple of recent find from and old dump .My wife pulled out the old lock set . It says Gurney ,Guess that was the name of the lock company .Thanks for lookind and any info ya'll can give. Good luck diggen to you all.

Hey dollarbill, first I have to say nice find, gotta love those old locksets. Sometimes the rich had their last names put on the fancy locksets. Hello Beebs, you are right about the prices, some of them are quite scary indeed ! I found  lot of it not all that bad though. Put it in my favorites. Love the old hardware, I look for it all the time. If I find some, I will buy it and put int in my shop for when I build display cabinest and so forth, the old hardware really sets them off. Thanks for the reply and link Beebs very cool stuff . I get a catalog that has a lot of reproduction stuff.I do restoration and remodle old home a bit and allway scarf up any old pieces the homeowners don't want . Lumber to if I get the chance. Can't see the stuff slipping away in a dumpster . Heres a pic of a dumb waiter I just picked up for a few bucks that I intend to turn into a display case for some of my stoneware .What ya'll think .Thanks for looken and good luck diggen all
