Hello all, I've hooked up with the local contractor who does alot of renovations to old home in the historic area of town. He calls me when he is at an old 1800's house so I can crawl under the house to find, well it's amazing what I find and just by using my rake I find loads of old bottles. If house has an extension added of course I'm probing, it's a bit uncomfortable but worth every bit of pain.

I agree with you on climbing under places. It can get cramped, but I have found the best things with labels under houses. Even my neighbors have gotten me to climb under their houses.
(We live in a historic district.)
