I feel lucky to have four towns that I love to find bottles from digging or otherwize.  My hometown bottles I look for are Bel Air, MD where I grew up and Delta, PA where I live now.  I also collect Baltimore because it was my home city as a kid and York, PA because I live in York county.  This gives me an unbelievably wide variety of bottles to look for.  I have found on at least three occasions it is a good idea if you buy something on ebay from a local seller its a good idea to arrange for local pick-up.  With gas being what it is you really don't save on postage but I have met some great local collectors this way and even ended up with other local bottles that I wouldn't of had a chance on otherwize.  When I picked up my Delta medicine bottle I ended up spending more than I planned but came away with several York, Pa bottles when they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.  This ebayer was not a bottle collector but has a good eye and buys old stuff in bulk for resale.  All but two of the bottles  in this pic came from going to get the Delta med and I'm doing seperate posts on those.

I think I'm going to sell the York milks as I only collect a few milks.  I got several nice York blobs, including a couple that are hard to find.

Also got some good crown beers including a aqua mug base Moul's that's not listed in the York book but may be listed in the update I don't have.  Similarly, at least one of the crown top sodas is not listed in the York book.  This ebayer was great to meet and in the future we will be looking out for each other's wants at yardsales, etc.

Yo Ry the best i think is an aqua EDWARD EBNER baltimore loop seal with a diamond on the base indicating it was probably made at the Diamond Glass Company in Royersford, PA.  Later tonight I'll list the others and this crown in aqua was unlisted in the original York book (now 10 years old).  Do you have the addendum Don Hartman put out?
