I just got this nice "Consolidated Ice Company, Pittsburgh Pa" carboyle or demijohn from my brother in a trade. I know that these types of bottles are fairly inexpensive for the scarecity but why is what I'd like to know. There can't be too many of these out there floating around. It's got an excellent double taperred applied lip. I just think this is one awesome bottle!

nice demi i dont know much about them and dont have any myself and yet i still like to see them they are impressive looking i guess my guess about why they done sell too high would be because they are so large you couldnt have too many they consume too much space

Hey! Zane I don't know why your calling that inexspensive becuase I think it might be worth more than you think! It's not a carboy but I guess it would fall under a demijohn? I would research the company it might be a mineral water or spring water. It looks like it has a big ole' sand chip pontil on the bottom? If it wasn't embossed and has a sand chip pontil I would say as a guess $50 to $75 bucks if it's at least a gallon. Smaller ones seem to bring less. With the embossing who knows!

Sure is a nice one! I bet that would of never been covered in wicker. Some embossed ones were though and some never meant to be wickered were covered by TOC or later crafters?  I have an embossed Easton, PA soda that some crafter? covered for some reason with wicker?

I could be wrong, but I think there's a small clear glass bottle-shaped paperweight with that company's name on it.
