goodyear tires metal sign - 2/21/2010 4:58:31 PM    athometoo Posts: 1740 Joined: 9/25/2008 Status: offline left work 1hr ago to go get a burger and decided to stop at a field where i have picked up 30s glass . well it was freshly mowed so decided to stop . on top of the hill (real sandy) i saw a corner of a metal porcelin sign poking out of the sand . well before i knew it i was digging it out . it wound up being 10 or 11ft long maybe 1 1/2 ft wide . blue sign with yellow letters and the wingfoot logo in between . from the time i left until the time i returned to work it was 30 minutes . not bad for being on the clock . it is sitting in the back of my truckright now  . hope no one steals it before i get off work . truck has an 8ft bed and 2ft sticking out behind it . oh well kinda made my day . try to post pics tommorrow . if its still there im gonna go by the car wash on the way home . RE: goodyear tires metal sign - 2/22/2010 10:22:27 AM    athometoo Posts: 1740 Joined: 9/25/2008 Status: offline sorry guys it was late when i got home last night , cold and windy as well . so i did not stop at the carwash to wash it off , or get pics of it . i just took it out of the truck and put it on the front porch . i found a pic of what it looks like though for those who are interested . working 16 hrs today so i dont think i will get pics tonight either .  oh yeah mine is not in as good of shape as this one though . still didnt measure it but im guessing 10ft long and 2 ft wide . not bad for a 30 minute paid lunch . sam    p.s i found a marble as well under the sign .
