The only piece I could find with embossing is what you see. PET.
I can't track it down, so any help is appreciated
I guess I want to know if I need to go back and sift.  <grin>
I have the base and a lot of the jar, but no other embossing.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,
You have the only embossing on the jar. The missing lid would have a 1869 patent date on it. With lid and clamp and in good condition, the jar is worth about $100.

Hi Bill,  According to the Standard Reference, the jars with L & W on the reverse were made by Lorenz & Wightman ca. 1872-1873.  Less in known about the jars embossed PET only -  Patented 1869 by Thomas G. Otterson of Camden NJ.

Thanks Tammy, Tony and George.
I did find the jar in my Red Book.  It isn't the L &W variant, Tammy.
When I searched for it, I was looking for something with PET in the word. I never thought to look just for PET. <grin>
I have the insert for it and I kept every rusty thing I found, but nothing came out of the rust that looks remotely like a closure. Bummer.
It's a half gallon jar, so I'm going to piece it together, as best as I can.
Tony,
I have storage units (3) floor to ceiling, with boxes, plus what I have here at home. It will take me a while to find everything from Wisconsin, but I know I've dug a bunch, over the years. I'm looking at a mint Stevens Point labeled beer on my shelf, which I picked up recently. I have the Hurley druggist, a Belle City blob w/original closure and a quart clay beer from somewhere in Wisc. I'll look for it, as I know it's here in this room, somewhere.
Bill
