help with pumpkin shaped vase - 5/22/2008 10:23:23 AM    Mike O Posts: 476 Joined: 12/26/2005 Status: offline A friend of  mine brought me a vase today to see if I could tell her anything about it. And I had to say NO! So maybe sombody here can help. This was dug in Washington state in the 70's so I assume it has some age to it even though I know it not that old. It is ABM with the seam going all the way up and over the top It is kind of pretty just the same. The glass also feels really smooth and soft (if you know what I mean!)  Thanks for any help. I'd guess it's from the 40's and probably held some sort of cosmetic cream or the like. It is 4 1/2" tall, with a 7/8" opening.  2 1/4" base and 4" at it's widest.  I guess I just called it a vase just because   It would be pretty hard to get cream out of it.
