thats a sweet bottle in my book...  dates back to the 1870 -80's or so and the early examples were blown at one of the Stoddard glass houses, I forget which one...

C. A. Richards & co
99 Washington St
Boston Mass

Most commonly found in amber but know in shades of olive also like this one I sold a while back...

what color was it?  I cant tell in the picture... Would be an exciting dig but they are pretty common so dont feel to bad...  if you wanted one bad you could pick it up for a pretty fair price...

I have an amber one I would let go of some where...

I like that dark amber root beer color...

I found the Richards I have for ya, its a light reddish amber, not much yellow but not dark brown, I'm running out of day light for the pictures and since I quit e-bay I dont have my old photo set up handy.  I think the pictures represent the bottle well though, especially the close up pictures as far as color.  It is mint condition excepting it seems to have some very light inside haze... I cant tell if its just me or not.  Otherwise a nice sheen with some nice bubbles in the neck and few seeds scattered about.  It was in my collection but lately its been boxed up.  Its such shame to keep a good bottle boxed, and I have another olive one on display so I'll let it go if you want it!

Seems Im rambling on again, here are the pics...
