hey all gotta dig today an found a few cool one like this one . i know ive seen this one some where but cant seem to find it . looks like an bird with a mans face an it wearing a campaign hat. looks like it came with a screw cap an a screw on shot glass. has G@W trade mark registered on he bottom. thank yall for your help bill

The shape is typical of 1940-60 whiskey/liquor bottles

ohh..Well it's certainly not pre-1919 so it has to be post-1964. I'd say about 1965-70

hey rhona yes it says trade G@W mark regestered and i do belive its 1920 ever thing else in the hole was 20s. ive seen this bottle before its like the spider web bottles of the 20s early 30s that had the shot glass on top as a cap to thanks yall for you replys bill

hey all heres a pic of what is called a double screw top oh the bottom has a diamond with a d in it . thanks agian bill. the bottle has some of the lable but it really hard to make out . thanks all bill

BILL...interesting pic...Don't recall seeing that one before. It does appear to be a Prohibition-Era flask...

the base looks early to me??1930 but no federal law embossment, very interesting bottle prob from canada or europe mike

hey all well found out a little more about this one its gooderham and worts gold lable american rye whiskey made in canada and i belive the bottle was made by dominion glass co. canada from what i can find out i belive the bottle was made between 1927 an 1929 the reason being the hiram walker co. took over g@w in 27 an changed the name in29 this is allso about the same time dominion class started to use a d inside of a <> for a makers mark thanks all bill

Gooderham and Worts was a big distillery in Toronto... long since defunct. The buildings are still standing with there names on it..a historic section of Toronto, Ontario.

D inside a diamond is Dominion Glass of Montreal. Hope that helps a little
