Hello everyone.  This looks like a great forum.  Barqs19 alrerted me to this place.  I've been collecting since I was 12 yrs old (22 yrs) and have over 20,000 bottles now along with thousands of cans, many machines, clocks, signs, etc.

However, bottles are still my favorite, particularly paper, foil, and foam labeled bottles.  I have written numerous articles in Soda Pop Dreams and The Soda Spectrum magazines over the years.

Right now, I'm looking for Georgiana, Alabama bottles.  Anyone have any in their collection?  This is a very small town in mid-Alabama that once had a little bottling plant.  I have Barq's and Dr Pepper from there.  I have seen a Lime Cola but haven't been able to acquire one yet.

Also looking for Greenville, AL bottles.  I 'think' there was a Lime Cola bottling works there but have never seen a bottle marked Greenville.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome.  I joined not to long ago myself and have gotten plenty of help and info about my bottles from board members.  I'm sure you will enjoy it here.  Post some pics of your collection!  The only GA, bottle that I know I have right off hand is a straight sided Coke from Helena.  Check the SS Coke thread on the 1st page.

Sorry Spencer but I looked a long time before I found those, which are in great condition.  However, I'll keep a lookout for you when I'm at bottles shows, etc.

Hi wonakpete and welcome to the forum.  I really enjoyed looking at the pictures of your collection.  I would say you and I have similar tastes in bottles.  I collect all kinds of ACL bottles, but have a real fondness for weird versions of the name brands.  You definitely have some unusual ones.  I loved the Tab pics. I'll post some pics of my collection soon.

If you have any unusual Nehi or Squeeze bottles I'd love to see pics.

Great collection. Is that a paper label Hillbilly mountain dew ND/NR, I see in that second pic on your last post? I didn't even know they made such a thing.

These pics had me drooling.

I liked that quart Kist Bottle. I have seen many Kist bottles over the years, but that is the first quart one I have seen.

I appreciate the offer; however, I picked up a copy of James Ayers pepsi collectors guide 2 today and they have them pictured in there. I'm gonna have to hunt that one down.

Appearently there was a regular paper label as well.
