I have a very nice mold blown crown top that says Hires Carbonated Beverages on the front but I have seen hutches on eBay embossed on the bottom. I have some “first issues” bottles in my collection like Heinz and Welsh’s grape juice but I would like to add Hires to that list. Does anyone know what their earliest bottle was? It seems like I remember reading that the paper lable bottle embossed on the bottom only was the oldest but I am not positive. It was put up in soda bottles in the late 1800s, crown top only. There aint nothing wrong with gettin outside and gettin some fresh air and exercise man. The one with the script is the oldest. Not really worth much I'm afraid. The only way they could be worthing anything is if it had the paper label on it and even those you see from time to time. It’s a mold blown crown top that says Hires Carbonated Beverages on the front. The stopper is also marked Hires. I picked the screw nut stopper up off ebay last year but it looks pretty cool and still works although it is not the type for this bottle.
