acually this piece, a CD-162 was made in the early 1900's. this is a great piece, not rare, but colorful! heres some info CD 162 The CD 162, referred to as a “deep groove, double petticoat”, was made for use with insulated drop lines and 6 to 8 gauge secondaries. The STAR CD 162 was manufactured by several of the prominent glass companies in the early 1900s ; Novelty Glass, Sterling and Harloe after it’s move to Hawley, Pa. Excavations at the Elmer “lower works” in 1980 produced fragments of Harloe type STAR CD 162 (12). hope it helps, got this from insulators.com
