They used those for lots of different things, i've got a few that i think were used for power to someones house. RE: insulators - 6/15/2010 1:29:14 PM    athometoo Posts: 1740 Joined: 9/25/2008 Status: offline we picked up so many so quick ya gotta wonder what to do with them . mostly hemingrays 40 , 42 , 45 . but we mixed it up with some ceramic ones  too . blues greens and browns and clears . i also put the fossils  , and crock jugs there as well . kinda mixes it up with the flowers and bushes . and its a good conversation piece . we picked up 40 of them in an hour one day walking along railroad tracks looking for dumpsites .   sam (in reply to Anthonicia) Post #: 4
