hey there i was around an old cabin around my place and found thisold plate anyone know if its worth anything or not. thanks for all the help

yea it is well its been burried for years. but there arnt any holes in it and it is still really solid. i though about cleaning it up but not to shure what the best way to do that is. bead blaster or what.

If its solid go ahead and blast it. You may get $10 for it or more. I found a 1912 in the woods metal detecting, those old porcelain/ceramic plates go for big money. Some of the guys gave me the heads up here and I got a real nice 1913 and I see them in the same condition bringing $150 or more.

I had a few 1940s similar to what you have and they sold in the rummage sale.

man i need to dig all the ones i've found digging and md'ing out.... most are from the mid 40's... always like finding license plates..kills the monotony of finding trash all the time
