Sorry I'm late, what did I miss?

Jim pretty much summed it all up.  They are very common, but recently it seems they have been gaining in popularity.  It is the most fordable poison with a skull and crossbones on it.  They come in BIMAL and ABM.  The skull and word spacing differs with every mold.  Colors range from dark to honey amber.  If you ever find one that is rectangular in this color, it's a KR-3 and is uber rare ($800+) as it's most commonly found in Cobalt.

Thanks!  Is this a price guide or identification book that is being referred to when you say KR-3?  If so, how do I go about obtaining and are there any for other types of bottles too?

The defacto standard in poisons is the Kuhn's books. Workbook 1 and 2 can be had directory from Terry Kuhn. They are best for ID purposes only as the prices are way off (except for the real common ones, they remain the same) More current book would be the the American Poison Bottle book from the APBCA (click on link in my sig) But this is just American bottles. This will give you full color photos price guide and rarity values. They also offer the 3rd Kuhn's workbook (only to club members, but membership is cheap). This book is on going. Every time a new bottle is idetified / added, it is released with the newsletter. This way, club members can keep up on new finds and such.

The links on the club website can take you where you need to go to get all of these. I also have them linked on our website.

Hi : I am fairly new here but I have been digging old bottles for 41 years in Southern Ontario. I am wondering if anyone has seen the same amber poison bottle ( A.B.M. ) with only the skull and crossbones. I have had one for as long as I can remember and have never seen another. Mine has the skull and cossbones near the upper portion of the bottle and no other embossing. I will be posting a picture as soon as I find the time.
Any help with rarity would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sure, fire away... Not may poisons just have the skull and crossbones embossed with nothing else.  So it should be an easy ID, or a new discovery, which is always exciting.

Not bad for this little guy!  Still a couple days left on it too.

Yup, getting popular. Still on the upper end for this bottle, and it's not even the BIM issue.
