Way to go, Zane. That Indian head beer is too cool! I haven't dug any bitters lately, just a broken Mishler's Herb Bitters . That sucked, but I have been getting a few cures, which I also like. ~Jim

Hey Zane, the Yough Beer is a crown top isn't it ? I believe I have one of them. Here is one of my favorites. I love the bottles with the Indians on them. I do not know if this bottle is any count or not, I have never found it in a book, and it is the only bottle I have ever had from Lima, Ohio that I can remember. If I ever get my tumbler set up, this will be one of the bottles that will be cleaned up.

Every time I do a search on something I usually never find what I am looking for. I Went back and did a quick search on Google just for the heck of it, and found the following.

Quilna Brewery (East Pittsburgh Street) 1895-1900. Lima Brewing Co. 1900-1919. Brewery operations shut down by Ohio Prohibition in 1919 ...

Lima Brewing Company of Lima, Ohio, USA
Trade Names for the brewery at the end of East Pittsburgh Street at the River, Lima, OH:
Zimmermann & Duvel 1875-1877
Zimmermann Bros. 1877-1884
A. & L. Zimmermann 1884-1890
Dietrich Brewing Co. 1890-1891
Lima Brewing Co. 1891-1893
Fruch & Wilhelmy 1893-1895
Quilna Brewery (East Pittsburgh Street) 1895-1900
Lima Brewing Co. 1900-1919
Brewery operations shut down by Ohio Prohibition in 1919
Status of the building is unknown.

A 35+ foot deep privy is just ridiculous but I've heard some in Pittsburgh run 50 ft down.
