RE: What 40 Years of collecting Looks Like - 6/19/2007 10:55:21 PM    logueb   Posts: 1384 Joined: 1/6/2007 Status: offline Eric, that's an early peppersauce bottle.  We were running into these kind of bottles 12 feet deep in a filled gulley.  I'm thinking that some of these were earlier than the 1880's.  I'll try to get some pics later. I don't believe that there is any embossing. I'll check.
