Ok, at the risk of overposting stuff I will use my newbie status to ask for another bit of help. Got this from an old bottle digger but he doesn't know where it's from. I am wondering if anyone else has something from this drug store in their collection. It's embossed as follows: Parker Drug Store/ C.F. Little Proprietor/Tel 552/Corner Second South and State. Has an owl sitting in a crescent of the moon and 3xii on the top by the neck so I know it's a druggist bottle but no clue what city and state this came from.  Here's a pic and thanks again!

Patty

oops - should have said "Parlor Drug" not Parker Drug. Fat finger syndrome over here.

Found this little nugget. This is an image from Lewistown, Montana  c.1895 Behind the sign jutting out from the canopy, does that read DRUGS? Also on the side wall directly behind the stage coach is that a mortar and pestle? Looks like one to me.   The image might be totally unrelated but it's a little more interesting than some of the posts 'round here

Lobey.

Heh, I emailed the Lewistown, MT chamber of commerce to ask about it. I did see on a map that those streets exist (if I get creative and guess that Central which is on my bottle is now called Main). Looking at pics of their town it seems like it coulda come from there...I guess it never hurts to ask anyway. Thanks for the lead!!!  Will let you know if it works out.

Hey, I am in the group of people that remember metal screwtops too!  Glad to find other old farts are out there, happy new years!  I am spending it home, away from all the crazy people I would have been right in the middle of in my 20's!  Heh.

Its called a flounderingsickrick the fish is a sand cat a salt water catfish.
We hooked into some huge sharks on that beach but our tackle was to light we could only fight them for a while, they busted us off every time.We did get to see one up close had to be 5 foot! black tip sharks! I think.but we don't know for sure,it was crazy!next year (heavy rod and line).
Here are a few pix of smaller sharks we got in,and other pix of stuff in sunny Fla on Xmas 2007.

We caught a lot this size the big ones that broke our lines could have ate this one.
