My stuff from the 2nd day

Check out that cool toothbrush to the right with the pick on the end!

And last picture, most of my finds I brought back with me, minus another crock some more blobs and a few wiskeys

Glad to hear you made back safe. The min. I got into my drive way and unloaed my bottles i heard a loud boooom and the whole ground shook, i thought someone was playing with dynomite again. Woke up this morning to find out a drunk driver drove his f'n car into my buddies house 3 miles away and the natural gas lines blew...The whole house is GONE, not half a house, its GONE. No pieces or anything. Its horrible, everyone is find though physically anyway  One firefighter got blown 40 ft from the explostion...

F'in drunk drivers almost swerved into me last night on 95, then I passed a fliped car a few miles after that.

Man I hope your friend wasn't a bottle collector... a shame either way but its hard to lose one bottle, your entire collection?  ouch...

Nice dig, but where are all the whiskey bottles?  any good ones or just a bunch of toc'ers?  That demi is sweet!

Looks like a fun hole! I love the toothbrush with the built in pick, first I've seen like that. George must be a bucket pulling machine!!! Pulling buckets and filling in are the hardest part of the job, the digging is the fun part. Keep up the good work! Chris

Kev, thanks!

Tique, No he wasnt a bottle collector but everything is working out. All the wiskys were mostly just amber strap sides, and yeah that demi is killer I love it

Paul, thanks and yes they are ok

Lex, it was a very fun hole but a lot of work but we each got some very nice things so thats always a plus :)

Thanks for all the replies guys

Got into a pit this weekend, dated about 1880-1850 might have gone into the 30s there was some early ceramics and some pressed glass. Most of the bottles were from the 60s on the bottom however. There were some pontils but just puffs. The finds include a large size YELLOW bunker hill pickle probly the best find of the day, a local squat from the 60s, a few pontil puffs, a bunch of meds from all over PA, a nice oil lamp, Clarks Worm Syrup Phila very cude, and some other misc. items.

Heres the pic after the dig

looked a little different...  that English stuff is usually real thick...  that pontil dig spoiled the crap out of me...  cant sleep no more in hopes of finding more of em!  just listed the snuff bottle...  I didnt want to but the girl convinced me we could use a couple extra dollars... not much, but a little!  I'll dig another... (famous last words)

really all I want to do is dig privy's, but they aint lying, there are HARD to find up here... gonna keep at it
