Man...Absolutely killer historical stuff, guys. Looking good already. I love to see 18th century objects getting the respect they deserve after a 200+ year dirt nap. Way to go! ~Jim

Thanks for sharing those pics. That decorated slipware chamber pot is wild. That mocha or pearlware mug looks to be really slick, too.Would a pic of the mug be too much to ask for?

Tony, It was a killer old pit, could have been better but alas it was what it was.

Doug, your welcome. That slip chamber pit is our best piece along with the slip bowls. No, not to much to ask for but at a later time. Chris, George, and myself will be posting more pictures after the picks.

Phil, good catch. Acutally those are not Bmore bowls but from a maker who had an aprentist who moved to Bmore  Chris will fill you in at a later time when he does his detailed write up.

Thank you all for your comments, keep em coming

Nice pit guys ...to say the least! Thanks for takin' the time to share these.

I knew Chris built his display cabinets too few and small. You're gonna need a shard shed.

Looking forward to it, Ry! Those bad and empty pits suck, but they're good in a way. They discourage the lazy "in it for the easy money" types. They also make the next good pit even sweeter after paying all those dues.

37 pits, man you've been busy! ~Jim

Jim, you are so right on a number of things. Those crappy pits after a while sure do make the next great pit feel soo good
