Or at least excite the element used to make a particular color glass to a higher energy state and produce different colors. I mean used X-ray equipment is fairly available. Or would you have to be producing High Energy Gamma radiation? And I don't know if its a true story or not but I was told of a physics putting a few amber drakes in the university he worked at’s partial accelerator in the 70s and getting some wild colored results. Anyone else ever herd this story? I will not entertain a purple bottle at all, unless it was origanlly made that way. It's like painting a coin, drilling a hole in it - Making an old coin jewlery, Painting a colletable auto not its original color..Some do but it really takes away from it's original history and original look.. Tumbling i'm torn on - But at least it just cleans the bottle to such a piont it looks as if it was just blown or out of a mold ...Keeps with the spirit of the original bottle !!
