Posting an image is easy. Just follow the steps. Just remember to keep
the file under 200KB. I don't know what format the pictures off your
camera are but they should be either a .jpg or .gif to upload. If they are
not you can change them in an image editing program, even a simple
one like Microsoft Paint. Hope this helps.

With all the digital cameras out there it would be hard to pick out one specific model to buy.
The prices are really coming down alot and the quality is getting better.
I say get the best you can afford.
When you buy it it will have instructions that will tell you how to load pictures to your computer.
I just got a handy cam digital camcorder that connects to a USB port on the back of my computer.
My digital camera uses a floppy disc to upload to my computer.
I have a Sony Mavica digital camera.
The more mega pixels the better the quality of the photos.

For info and recommendations on buying a digital camera, check out
www.ConsumerReports.org

Consumer Reports top-rated 3-megapixel camera is the Fujifilm FinePix 3800 at list price $340.

Their "Best Buy" is the 3-megapixel Fujifilm FinePix A303 at list price $220.

More than 3 megapixels is only useful if you want to print really big, high-quality pix, or if you want to do sophisticated manipulations of your images.

Me? I am limping along with a 1.3 megapixel camera.

Hope this helps.

I bought an Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom. It is a 4 megapixel and has a 10x optical zoom, I have been very pleased. Harry is right about the megapixel's, sure it is great to have a five megapixel camera, but not really practical for me unless I was printing out large photo's. I think anyone would be more than happy with a 3 megapixel for taking photo's of bottles. Personally I think Olympus and Canon make very good camera's with lots of features. If you do any purchasing online, www.bhphotovideo.com is a great place to buy for great prices and service on digital cameras, I am not affiliated with them in any way, just passing on the info.

Sounds like a pretty big job Admin, there are a lot of frequently asked questions in bottle collecting, lol. Seriously, if you ever need any help let me know. I have a degree in graphic design and we use Photoshop so I had to learn that to graduate .
