Hey Brian!  Nope, just the more common variant.  The bottle was found (along with five others) at a flea market in the 80s.  They had been discovered in a Charlotte, Vermont attic.  I believe that they were purchased for $5 each at the time.  The other five were sold immediately but this one has not previously been offered for sale.  As with the others in the lot, the bottle does retain portions of the original label and the original cork.  I have $765 on the price tag but I'd be willing to work with you if it's of interest.  Both color and strength of embossing are better than most...

Jeff,
I was looking for the 4 cities in Cobalt or Clear. If you run across one of them please keep me in mind.
Thanks again , Brian
Caspers have always been one of my favorite bottles ...... although not usually very crude ..... you have to love that Cobalt in a run of Whiskeys .  Good luck with your sale !

Here's a pic - I sell 'em like I find 'em so the new owner will get the opportunity to wash off the attic grime and see the bottle really sparkle...

That is the finest one of these Caspers I have seen, thanks for posting it.
I truly love the cobalt bottles. Among the different ones I have, I am fortunate to say, I have two varients of the Caspers, neither one of them being for sale. Regretfully, one of them needs a good tumbling to make it appear beautiful. And maybe the other could stand just a small touch of the tumbler as well. It looks okay to me though. Wish the other one was as clean as this one.

Nice 4 cities LC ! It looks a little lighter than most I have seen. Or maybe it is just the light behind it .
I'd give it a quick whiz in the tumbler . But that is just me.
Have you ever seen the Clear variants ?  Nowhere near as pretty ...... but much , much harder to find.       Thanks for sharing.

Being you are a woodworker as well Richard, you know that a fifteen inch planer is almost a must for making furniture, dressers and so forth. Saves a heck of a lot of time in truing up glued up panels. Just run them through the planer, which gives them a nice smooth even finish, elimanating a whole lot of sanding, that is if the blades are good and sharp.

Hello Brian, no trick of the lighting, the four cities Caspers I have is a fairly light cobalt, surprised me when I came across it. I ran onto it after already having the other Caspers. I did not know there was a clear caspers until you made mention of it earlier this evening. Is it the same style of bottle as the cobalts ? Its seems I have seen one or two of these exact shapes of bottle in clear with no embossing over the years. Is there any record of there being a Caspers with a paper label ?
