Bermudabottles has the right idea.  Not that warm there this time of year, but I'd move there in a heartbeat!  Diving for bottles in Bermuda is the life for me

When I was younger , you couldn't get me in the house with a hay fork if it was snowing outside,....nowadays, since i HAVE to be out in it's lost some of its appeal....It is beautiful though,...It looked cool this morning at daybreak....red sky with snow filtering down past...anyhow tommorrow'll be better.

nah...you get out there. bottles aren't going anywhere. hell they're only bottles anyway..
I hung siding for more years than I care to remember in the winter. Doing anything outside when it's below 40 seems like work to me. You know how to spot people who work out side in the winter while driving home? We're the people driving with the windows rolled half way down in 20 degree wheather. Too goddamned hot in the truck.

Ain't that the truth! LoL....Here's my favorite though...Waking up in my running truck in the driveway with the heater going and a puddle of drool on my mail that I was attempting to read, after a long freezing day outdoors...SENIOR MOMENT...It's okay,...it has happened to me more times than I care to admit during winter.

We were out in it Sunday evening when the front came through in Md. Not too bad if you're in the hole but I got blasted by freezing winds working the top. By the time we finished  I couldn't feel my thumbs.

We got a  a Genuine Essence and Redware roach trap for 12 feet of bottle digging fun....

We never let the weather stop us!

Back when we used to have permafrost here 20 yrs ago we used it to our advantage tunneling dumps hard to get in on top but warm!

Sure i have dug in this weather . you come across a construction site , get in somehow and even if it is cold and snowing, you can get out of the wind and dig down in a hole . Some of my best digs have come from construction sites in the middle of winter . As far as that goes it seems like a lot more buildings come down on demo. projects then in summer . I believe this is because of asbestos concerns ... etc and less people seem to be milling around . ,

I missed the md part phil44.  It was so windy, my lights kept flickering.  It's nasty out there today.  They make a big deal out of it here, up in New England it's business as usual.
