Never knocked you Huck, knocked Hugh Grant there! That price guide isn't worth the price of the paper it's printed on. He also wrote how to guides on kitchen remoldeling, and fruit crate labels. He's a hack, wouldn't know a bottle if it jumped up and bit him on the ass and has no business pricing anything. As I'm sure you're aware Cutter has about 12-15 cylinder varities. Some are up there in price most are not. I have a couple different ones myself and I'm pretty familar with most of the prices for the rounds. Just not certain about this one. My guess it's in the $40 range. Hope I'm wrong about that though.

Lobey.

Checking the auction price report,I would say this one sells for around $100-$160 or so.There are a good number of them listed that had sold for similar amounts at major auction houses. These sales are all 2003 or earlier so it could be worth a little more but I would say it is in the ballpark.

Katkalysmic -- wait until one of the Caldigs or Leisalu* gives you a response, your variant
is less common than the others mentioned and pictured in this thread.

Or send an email to the proprietor* of www.oldwestbottles.com -- his site is now up and running.  Specify the embossing, height, and whether the lip is applied or tooled.

I think you busted a brain cell, not to mention you forgot the question mark at the end, but then that pretty much fits your uh, "post".

Just recieved an answer to my email from Ralph Van Brocklin......Ralph Van Brocklin

Hi Rich!
Thanks for the note.
This particular Cutter is the most common of the applied tops and also comes in a tooled top.  The toolies typically sell for $20-30 and the applied will bring $45-175.00  depending upon color and crudity (and, to a certain degree, the variant.)
Hope that that helps,
Ralph

Hope this helps Katkalysmic.
