nicest one i've ever seen, called a magnetic egg. Extreemly rare in aqua, but yours looks to be eather royal purple or amber blackglass!  Only ne i've even seen. (on the internet of course, i've never seen one in actual life)

It was you that dug that puce Cd-700.1! Unbelievable! That is an infamous find in the history of the hobby! Believe it or not, there were a few insulator collectors present at that dig, and word of mouth makes it around really fast - especially with a piece like that!
The listed colour is probably one of the most unusual I've ever heard of. "Raspberry Puce" the colour is apparently called. Hah!

hey bram im still lickin my chops from the finds we got together!!!! I was just wondering if you were coming back to amesbury ? I was talking to my metal detecting circle and heard of some nice areas that produce bottles but im not sure what era there from though . I have been told about some possible areas from older folks around where the first families settled my town also . So i was thinking your knowledge and my youthfull "back" might be a good duo ? !  im free on mon-weds usually my cell # is 19782040382 . call me if you migrate this way again i had to much fun diggin !!!!!!!
