Hi Penn Digger! Yes, thats sumac, grows like weeds. The deer seem to like it. I havent joined any clubs, but talked to an local historian who gave me some info. I think my fun at the waterfront has ended. Or until the next phase starts. I have enough bottles to find info on to keep me busy for now.

I'm always up for an adventure...will keep you posted on the waterfront.
Lisa

The marble at 6 o'clock (bottom center) is a nice looking "Oxblood".

Hey Zane, thanks for noticing my good looking marble! Didn't realize how many different types there are. Any idea what this was?

Those are some nice finds.  You should blacklight those marbles and see if any of the yellows glow, it's cool!  Probably is sumac, but not poison sumac (too many leaflets and too big)  The glue is interesting, like the milks, what dates are on them?

Thanks, Cobalt! That pic was only half of the marbles I have found. Cool idea to blacklight them, never knew that. Tomorrow I'm buying a new camera, will post more pics of everything. I have almost 30 milks, all are local. Haven't found any dates on them, or any info on the dairy farms. Spoke to an old timer and he remembers Dodds being delivered by horse and buggy when he was a child, thought that was pretty cool. Here's a few more pics of some milks taken before my camera took a shhhh!
