And amazingly enough it is still being produced. The same company also produces Grapico.

Hmm never even seen a shard of the buff rock here in west GA...odd because we have buff rock still..in fact, they irritate the begeebers out of me because they bottle Pepsi but don't use the yellow point earning caps...just the dam white caps that say buff rock.

Here is the back

Note the embossing on the sholder. Well what you can see of it anyway. Your's may indeed have been a paper label.

hey joe yep thats it,  i also have that bottle, the bottle youve pictured has a krinkly pattern in the glass,  the green above is smooth, ive seen the green also with the krinkly glass with the acl lable, the clear one dates to the late 40s, and the green dates to 1940 so my question is did these have a paper lable?2 were found in the same hole no ghosting what so ever hmmmmm??? mike

Pssst Madman, go back and read the bottom of my last post. LOL! I agree with you that it may very well be a paper label; however, I have no proof or any idea what it would have looked like.

Hey Mike, Buffalo Rock is still in operation in Birmingham. They had a variety of flavors and their chocolate was one of my favorites. The do Pepsi now.
